Word to PDF converter
Turn a Word document into a PDF that looks the same on every device.
Processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose your .docx file.
- Check the preview of your document.
- Pick A4 or Letter page size.
- Press Download PDF.
What gets converted
Text, headings, bold and italic, bullet and numbered lists, tables, links and embedded images are carried across. Download PDF renders each page at high resolution so it looks right everywhere. If you need text that can be selected and searched inside the PDF, use 'Print or save as PDF' and pick Save as PDF as the printer.
Very design-heavy files (text boxes floating over images, unusual fonts, page borders) can shift slightly. For those, Word's own File > Save As > PDF gives a pixel-perfect result.
Private by design
Most online converters upload your file to a server, process it there and send it back. That is slow on mobile data and means a copy of your document sits on somebody else's computer, at least for a while. This tool works differently: the code runs inside your browser, so the file is read and processed on your own phone or laptop and is never uploaded. That makes it a good fit for bank statements, ID scans, offer letters and anything else you would rather keep private.
Frequently asked questions
Does it support .doc files?
It supports .docx, the format used by Word 2007 and later. Open an old .doc in Word or Google Docs and save it as .docx first.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit; it depends on your device's memory. Documents of 50+ pages work on most laptops.
Will my fonts be kept?
Common fonts are kept. Unusual fonts that aren't installed on your device are replaced with a similar standard font.
